NOW SOLD: Quite a rare model on our shores, this vehicle is one of 3 known to the Guild in the country. Being a 105, it was released after the 105S & the 105R. With it’s current owner having owned it since 1971, a lot of its history is known and documented. The registraion (NSW) has just been paid for a further 12 months until June 2013. For Sale: Rover “105” 1959. I am the fourth owner of this car, and have owned it since 1972. I think this is a rare model in Australia, and may have been privately imported. Its first owner was a flight captain on BOAC. It has the same interior as the “100”. A comprehensive restoration was completed in 2003 and was awarded by the NSW Rover Owners Club the “Alan Tester ” prize for best restoration in that year. The car has had only token use since then.
