Sadly we’ve lost our dear friend and club member, Mr August Langenegger, he passed away in late May. Here is a picture of August and his wife Asun next to his cherished P2. August owned this vehicle originally back in the 1960’s and sold it in the early 1970’s. Some twenty years later he was looking to buy another Rover and came across his original car which had been lovingly restored. August upon owning the car for a second time went on numerous Fly the Flag tours and other such events, all the while enjoying his lovely Rover.

The UK Rover P4 Drivers Guild National Rally for 2014 was held at Rockingham Castle. Rockingham Castle, built on the instruction of William the Conqueror, has been the Watson family home for 450 years. Prior to the Watson’s ownership the Castle was held by the crown. There are very few other homes that have been continuously occupied for nearly 1000 years and within that time been owned by just one family since being relinquished as a royal Castle.
