May 11 2024 – It has been decided after discussion with members that the GARAGE DAY at Bill Metcalf’s place will be on Saturday the 11^th of May starting from 9.00am. The idea is that we have a get together and working day on his spare 105R , removing the engine etc etc .There will be many parts surplus to Bills requirements that members will be welcome to. All members are welcome to attend , however please inform if you have not done so already so that arrangements can be made for refreshments. May 25 and 26 2024 – 47th HISTORIC WINTON Race Meeting, Historic Winton is conducted by the Austin 7 Club Inc. A0003290N with assistance from the Historic Motorcycle Racing Association of Victoria. Historic Winton is Australia’s largest and most popular all-historic motor race meeting. Enjoy a weekend of non-stop racing featuring over 400 historic racing cars and motorbikes from the 1920s to the 1980s. As well as a huge array of veteran, vintage, rare and unusual vehicles on display. Suggest members review Historic Winton 2024 Website – historicwinton.org .We have a number of members that are going to attend this classic event and it is proposed that we will follow the Saturday event with dinner at a Wangaratta Hotel/Restaurant. For members that may not wish to attend Sundays proceedings, it is proposed a possible tour of the area be arranged, taking in some of the local wineries followed by lunch at a suitable venue.
